LOVE BYTES Season 1
with Sydni Hampton and Gilda Wabbit
From January to April 2023, I collaborated with Kentucky drag performers Sydni and Gilda (now known as Naomi Wayne) as the executive producer of their podcast. LOVE BYTES is an honest and hilarious advice podcast for listener questions about relationships, sex, and all things queer. I was at the forefront of recording, editing, and mixing each episode in S1, as well as development of brand designs (like the cover art and marketing materials).

From the time of its release to its retirement, LOVE BYTES S1 earned up to 200 unique listener downloads per episode. It even reached audiences in the United Kingdom, India, and Canada, among other places.

S1 was retired to create a blank slate for S2, but archived episodes from S1 can be shared upon request.
LOVE BYTES Season 2 with Sydni Hampton
Since May 2024, I have helped Sydni Hampton reinvent LOVE BYTES as a podcast with rotating guests. The show's concept remains the same, but with various drag artists as guests instead of Naomi Wayne (Gilda Wabbit). Beyond the lineup change, we rebranded the show with different visuals, and began recording in a professional studio space with quality mics and a Zoom PodTrak P4. I also created an Instagram account, @asklovebytes, to forefront marketing and question submissions.

Currently, LOVE BYTES has earned a total of over 1,600 cumulative downloads and 15 five-star reviews on streaming platforms where it's featured (data from Aug. 2024).

From Spectacle To Spectral:
A True Crime Metapodcast
My first solo podcast project, From Spectacle to Spectral (FSTS), is based on a year-long research project I completed for the Bellarmine University Honors Program. The three-episode miniseries explores the feminization of true crime through podcasting by analyzing the true crime pod boom of the 2010s.

The podcast is currently under construction. Upon release, FSTS will showcase more than just my own research. It will also feature interviews with a published true crime scholar, the social media coordinator for audiochuck's Crime Junkie, and original music.

The brand kit I created for FSTS is seen here. Alongside it is a photo of my research presentation of this content at the Southern Regional Honors Conference in Jacksonville, FL, April 2024.
